I want to explore the mysteries of language

As a part of our everyday lives, language seems as natural as air. But a fresh look at the phenomenon of language reveals numerous mysteries, many of which cannot be easily answered. I am currently trying to unravel several such mysteries through computer-based analysis of texts and voiced speech. New technologies are very helpful, but it is the duty of human to interpret the computer-generated results. Additionally, I always pay attention to the ways these findings can be used in lexicography and language education.
The role language has played and continues to play in the life of society is a great mystery that cannot be uncovered by means of linguistics alone. As I continue to contemplate and investigate it, I look into the relations between language and literature, history, society, thought, politics, and so on, while trying to keep the research within a reasonable scope.
