Organization of the Faculty
The Faculty of Arts and Letters at Tohoku University consists of 26 departments in the humanities and social sciences. From their second year, students join one of these departments and take classes, deepening their learning while in contact with instructors and graduate students and completing a graduation thesis or research in their fourth year.
