For various reasons my name is sometimes spelled as "Hitoshi Goto". I don't always raise an objection to this: I myself sometimes have to write this way. What is Esperanto?

Esperanto is a planned international language. It facilitates communication among people with different cultural backgrounds. It is international, neutral and easy to use.

For more information on Esperanto, please refer to Universal Esperanto Association.

How about reading Prague Manifesto? This was adopted in 1996 in Prague.

It is worth reading Universal Declaration on Linguistic Rights as well, although this is not driven by Esperantists.
